I'm having trouble installing the flashscan device on my new pc. Window says, flashscan has not passed Windows Logo testing and recommends to stop the installation. What can I do?

Pretty much nothing passes Windows logo testing. I would just install it anyway, I did.

I'm thinking about it. I wonder if it would really mess with my pc?

No it wont mess with your pc. It just means that Efilive didnt pay a huge fee to have Microsoft add it to thier supported tested list.
It works perfectly fine on everyones computer. We all have been using it for years.

Everytime I see one of those messages when I go to install a new piece of hardware, I just laugh. Only the HUGE companies actually go through Microsoft to get their stuff "Windows Approved" because it is a royal pain (from what Ive heard) and doesnt really do anything at all.
Basically, click okay and dont think about it again.

Wouldn't it be great if you could apply that principle to everything else!;)

That's what most people do ... turn on PC, turn off their brain the same time ... :) (for many people, it is an improvement ;) )

A signed driver strictly means that the yearly extortion fee has been paid, but does not guarantee that the driver is bug free.

Yep, thats all it means, that Microsoft looked at it and probably did a few tests before saying, ok, youre certified and you get a fancy little deal you can put in your install programs.
I wish I could turn my brain off when my PC comes on, usually it is the opposite as Im on my PC for work/research on cars or other computers...
