Last week I was TUNING 2002 Camaro. Everything went fine .

Today he came in asking me to adjust the shifting points for him .
I hope that the car up made the adjustment needed and tried to upload the program .

It is not happening I can't upload anything . It asked me to make a full flash , and one I tried to do so it takes me out saying I am not allowed .

Could this guy have changed his PCM ??

If so how can I tell ? Wouldn't EFI ask me for new license ?

I tried uploading on another vehicle and everything seems fine .

If I press OK it will ask me to reflash without the high speed . I did " it is giving me the same message "

Also , I have reflash the PCM with the latest GM software using the Tech2.

Same thing …. Same message

Also sometimes this error pops up on my screen .
I have downloaded the program to another PC and it gave me the same exact error !!!

The specific error came only with a new 7.3.3

There was an error where the serial number got changed to all 000's.

Download the latest software version from the EFILive Downloads page. It will require a license to resolve, but we'll of course provide you with a replacement.

To get the replacement send:
- Your FlashScan Serial number
- The new PCM ID that gets assigned to the PCM

Send to support at efilive dot com.

Build of Tune Tool should be 555.

Perhaps that car was tuned with the problem version?

Try:
- Connecting your V1 or V2 to your PC
- Open the Tune Tool and go to the Help menu and choose the licensing option for the appropriate FlashScan version
- Check if there is a PCM ID listed as 000000000000

If it is not listed, query the PCM info as well and see if it reports the PCM ID as 000000000000
