hey everyone, i'm new to this tunning, been playing around with my efi live and just wanting to know some basics on how to tune my vyss with the efilive, like timming adjustments etc for better torque, horsepower and fuel economy and which hsv tunes i can downlad onto mine for a stock auto vyss.

cheers, any advice greatly appreciated.

Welcome to tuning, I think you will find the EFILive community to be very helpful. Below is a link for some basic info to get you started:

It will depend on the size of your PCM and the OS. The later LS1 powered Commodores used a 1MB PCM, where the majority used 512Kb.

Have a look at the tune repository link in my sig for Holden and HSV tunes. Also have a look at the diffences between say your car stock and say the 2004 Clubsport.
