How are the ETCTP1% and ETCTP2% PIDs derived?

The range is 0 - 39.2%, with 0% corresponding to 0.5V ETCTPS(V) and 39.2% to about 3.0V. ETCTP(V) continues to climb until WOT even though ETCTP% is maxed out by 3.0V.

Here's a screenshot.

Here's a screenshot of a log for the LS2 90mm TB hooked up to a 2002 TAC module. The 02 TP sensors operate similarly to the LS2(the sensors signals move in opposite directions). In this case the ETCTP1&2% values don't max out until ETCTP(V) reaches 3.9/1.0V which is considered 100% by this TAC module or the PCM. At least V and % max out simultaneously. Makes somewhat more sense than a stock 04 setup.
