why do i have to run so rich in sd auto ve mode?
i sit at 9.5afr +- .
must it be this way or have i got something wrong?
i`ve had a bad tune for some time so i bought the v2 , i have reflashed a stock tune and went from there but i run so rich that when i paste and multiply
my ve table crashes in the areas that are selected.
should the afr be so rich?

1341 this is my tune that was done by some hacks with ls1 edit.
it is wacked i think .

I know this sounds funny but sometimes I forget to plug in my wideband, and the AFR sits at 10.0 and never moves...lol. What are your mods??

So far I don't see anything real off the wall except the PE Modifier table is commanding AFR's in the 9.5 range! The VE appears untouched from stock and the IFR table is stock. If it was running that rich you'd see it out the tail pipe. Definately check your WB like Rhino stated.\

Your PE vs. RPM {B3618} is set to 9.xxx pretty much across the board. Thats why its pig rich.

its only like that in sd mode.
normally its around 14.2afr or so.
at wot its like 9.2 afr.
my lc1 is in the drivers side of the y pipe, and i believe its working correctly.
my afr fluctuates like crazy and my ltfts are also all over the place.
its a 383 with a small cam , stock injectors and no cats.
what should my afr be during auto ve mode?

Redline and Rhino are saying: in OL the richer of B3605 and B3618 wins (your B3618 is way richer than your B3605).

so what should i do ?
which should i change?
i`m doing exactly what the autove tutorial says.
i`ve even changed to a stock tune for the auto ve.
is it ok to change b3618 to something different that what the tutorial says?

the Auto VE tutorial says to set 3618 to 14.63 AFR

Get some decent injectors too. Stock wont cope well with a 383 with a cam. Hell most cammed 346's with stock injectors struggle to keep their duty cycle to something reasonable.

my duty cycle is ok

the Auto VE tutorial says to set 3618 to 14.63 AFRDo this... your PE AFR is way too high.

this is the original tune not the autove tune , but i changed the eq to afr and the values are the same. i.e they didn`t change to an afr # just stayed the same #`s weird.

Did you exit the tune tool and restart it...?

yes now i see.
this is not my autove tune. this tune was done on a dyno.
should i start with a stock tune and go from there or try to fix this tune?

If you have only bolt-ons, then start from stock, otherwise start with the dyno tune.

Or, compare the two, and if they are not much different, start with the dyno tune.
