Is it possible to turn on the 4wd icon in the instrument cluster when 4wd is engaged on push button 4wd trucks. The cluster icon is used in trucks with the manual floor 4wd shifter. It has to be in the programming some where?
The reason I ask is because it is hard to see the tiny light on the buttons sometimes. The 4wd icon in the cluster is very obvious and should be used since it is there!
I know about soldiering the wire to the cluster.....not
doing that.


On the factory stereo is there anyway to keep the clock and artist/song screen up all the time when using XM radio?

There is a HW mod on the dieselplace website (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54170) that MaxPower put up that allows this to happen. I do not beleive EFILive can do it at this time since it's an instrument cluster item and not an ECM or TCM item.

I believe it is just a matter of changing some programming in the BCM however we don't have tools to do that.
