Can't open logs

I've made two data log files. (abc.efi) by running EFI scan tool on my laptop computer. I select the green connect button. Then the record button on the bottom of the screen. The Frames start counting. Then I hit stop and save the file. When I try to open the files with scan tool I get:
File:C:\user\lornes Dell Laptop\documents\efilive\v7\logged data\log_000.efi Channel count is 0, cannot load file.

The other one I get:
File:C:\user\lornes Dell Laptop\documents\efilive\v7\logged data\DYNO RUN.efi Channel count is 0, cannot load file.
The file is 56 KB/57,344 bytes
I also renamed the cache file per the crupt file info in the manual with no luck.

You need to select PIDs to go along with the log. Channel 0 to me means there are no PIDs selected.

I have to select pids before trying to open the log?

Select pids before you log;

During recording, do you see the data on the chart on Dash B...?
