Someone asked me this and I did not really know how to answer the question , "what does it mean when someone says after a Tune drive the vehicle for a while so it can re-learn" .
I said the only thing I could figure is that the LTFT or STFT maybe , the data that is flashed into the different segments is not changeable by the PCM itself , just with software .

Can someone enlighten on the subject a little .

Yeah, they're either talking about the fuel trims or idle trims in most cases. The only other things that really have a learning factor is the trans (shift times) and the spark scaler (based on KR).
