For the VALUE/FONTS, color the text, red, green, blue, (or whatever), and use OCR (or another cool techno type font).

Place this text somewhere away from needle sweep and gauge data area (I like outside in a corner of the square background - behind gauge).

Make sure the gauge BACKGROUND and BACKGROUND HATCH are not black.
Now here's the cool part.

For BACKGROUND/VALUE, unselect TRANSPARENT, and make the background black.
Now you have an analog gauge and a digiital one!

(Thanks to Paul for the tips on this one.) :)

Oh, I see - cool.

By the way I copied your two images to
www.efilive.com/upload/forum/images/emarkay_LEDGauge.jpg
and
www.efilive.com/upload/forum/images/emarkay_RC1screen.jpg
That way you can link to them in your posts a little easier.

I am trying to make it a public ftp upload - just haven't got around to it yet.
