Ever think about doing providing something for Fords?
I want a programmer for my F150 because the factory tune sucks.

I think the other guys are doing read only for Fords right now , and asking for people to read their coms and send to support .
I remember reading some where that Dodge would be before Ford .

I just got the latest B&B catalog and they are offering a tuning solution for Fords. I didn't read into it much, so I don't know if it would fit your application.

There is already two proven FORD PC based programming options (maybe more), Sniper & SCT.
I've seen the Sniper stuff and it's pretty good, faster than SCT too.

I was checking out some of the other tuning software for Fords, but if I switch to another brand (even though it's for a Ford), It'll make me feel all dirty inside, like I'm cheating on my wife!
I'm sure you understand. :D

Was snooping around on B&B Electronics (one who shiped me my EFILive) site and ran across this http://www.autotap.com/ , it shows Ford tuning I think .
Never mind , just Ford diesels .

Funny you should mention Sinper. I went down to Orlando to check out their operation about a year ago. Nice people. I went down to interview/demo their product(s) for Ford, Dodge, applications. I played cool for the first couple of hours, just listening. The whole time though I couldn't take my eyes off of their copy of EFI Live on the bookshelf behind this guys desk.
After a quick lunch break, I couldn't take it any more and I pulled out my laptop and started the real questions... Now a year in software development can bring alot of changes. 7.3 to 7.4 w/RTACS is/was phenominal. I have not kept up with the Sinper guys since then but, they weren't quite done with alot of things and what they did have didn't really amount to much real control of the vehicle's operating system. They did have alot of promise and talent though. I left a card for them to get in touch when they had a real functional scanner that would correlate information to their tuning tool but haven't heard from them since.

Thanks for the info.
I think I've decided to leave it alone for now bewcause $500 is too much money just to have a new toy to play with. After all, it's just a truck, completely stock. What could I possibly do to make it better? :nixweiss::D

If it was the turbo diesel then I would say you can get a pretty good kick in the pants for it with the Sniper.
