Hello guys ,

I'm having a problem with this avalanche . It's a stock motor with nothing on it except STS turbo kit . it is making 334WHP ON 7PSI with 5.3L engine in it .

Every about 100 miles the cars power goes sharply down and it starts detonating . the MIL comes on with a code for the MASS sensor.
PO101

Any clue how can I get this code off of my back .

Cheers

Are you still using the MAF?

yes, i put it at 6 psi with 310whp. so i dont think it is maxed out .

First thought is you're maxing out your MAF, but, P0101 is a performance code, not circuit high. So to eliminate max'ing the MAF as the culprit, I would reset all the DTC's, then set up a log to monitor the MAF airflow PID's. Take it for a drive and duplicate the problem, then cross check your max MAF airflow vs. the max value in your MAF table.

P0101 is related to the same problem that you described in another thread. It is the MAF Rationality Test table. Increase that table some more and give it a go.

Can you post up the values you have there?

Justin

EDIT: NVM, I see you posted the tune. I'll post up a modified one for you.

Use the attached tune.

C2911 increased by 400%. This will fix the 101 code.

Also have adjusted the ETC tables to keep you from hitting Reduced Power Mode.
