I am new to efilive, but why do most people adjust power by changing the fueling map instead of just raising the maximum torque and torque from throttle tables to whatever they want?

Also, I downloaded EFIlive to demo it but I wasn't sure if I could see all of the available tables. For example, I don't remember seeing any tables that allowed me to adjust rail pressure. Does EFIlive have access to any trainsient tables? How could I adjust how quickly the ECU gives the engine fuel when I mash the pedal?

I should mention that I was looking at a stock lmm .tun file.

The LMM tuning is still in it's infancy, there is not as many tables / parameters to edit compared to say an LBZ which is using the same controller.
I would agree with you that adjusting the pedal > torque table would be a good method tune.
