I just upgraded to 7.22 and did a little logging. Now when it goes to run the O2 sensor testts it replies, "Could not be retrieved from the vehicle, Reason: PCM is not returning O2 sensor data, try SMS results" Any ideas why it would say this?

Sorry for the "no reply" - I did not see this post until now.

That message is displayed when the PCM does not return any O2 sensor data. In later years, GM moved the O2 sensor test results from their own dedicated area to the SMS test results.

Try the SMS test results (the icon to the left of the O2 icon) and look for TEST ID $05 - which is the O2 sensor test results.

Paul

I have a 2004 LS-6. I assume that this answer applies to me also?

If you see Test ID $05 in the SMS results, then yes it also applies to you.
