Has anybody in Australia ordered or is using a 1024k RR. Do they suit the VY commodores with ETC. Do they look like attached pic.

No the 512 unit is what you need for a VT-VY , and the 1024 if only for the VZ LS1 , I have 4 of each for tunign and they look exactly like the std LS1 PCM.

that pic is of a E series PCM

Will that 1024K RR (Or a similar one) work with the LLY Duramax?

Dont think so, but I thought I heard Craig Moates made a LB7 D-Max one, maybe he's doing LLYs now too?:nixweiss:

Yes, there is a LB7 RR... that 1024K RR kinda gives hope for the LLY as the LLY ECM *LOOKS* the same (I know the LS2-style PCM has different guts, while the exterior looks the same) and is 1024k in size. IIRC, one of the challenges mentioned with regards to a LLY RR was the case design and where to put the RR components.

I just re-read the second post. The 1024k RR doesn't look like the LS2/LLY ECM, it looks like the LS1/LB7 ECM, so maybe we're not that close to having an LS2 or LLY RR.

Hey guys

I am trying to get the RTACS going on a Holden CV8Z with the 1024k PCM but it won't auto adjust the VE table.

As you know it uses the ETC fly by wire.

It works fine when i use the 512k PCM on pre VZ cars.

I have been searching for this info but have found no one else with the same problem.

would i have to play around with the accuracy settings ?

Any ideas ?

thanks in advance for any help.

All my 1024 RR's work perfectly with autotune , I would suggest it is a setting you have wrong.

That's what i'm thinking.

I have emailed Craig but he has not responded yet.

I will keep trying .

thanks Delco

There are firmware updates for the RR to work better with RTACS. Mine did not want to cooperate until I updated it.
