I keep going just to see what else can go wrong. Latest:

Never got BT to work but have a connection with USB. I downloaded os and tune from old pcm. Installed RR and tried to upload file to RR PCM and get the following erros:
Bootloader rejected
EFI could not unlock PCM.

Any ideas.

ANy idea why PCM would be locked as received? I tried writing an update to it yesterday but forgot PCM did not have an OS at time.

Don't use the "normal" read/reflash options to read/reflash a RR PCM. THey don't work because RR has no flash memory.

You must only use the RR read/reflash options on the RR control panel.

The PCM is "locked" only because the locking codes are stored in the flash memory which does not exist. The EFILive<->RR link has full control of the entire RR RAM that is emulating the flash memory so it is sort of irrelevant that the PCM thinks itself is locked.

Just got off the phone with Craig and I see your reply. Just wanted to say thanks for the reply and the informative conversation with Craig Moates .

I believe we have everything back under control.
