In the AutoVe tutorial it instructs to hide all cells with a value less than 50. I'm assuming it means cell counts. I just can't put my finger on how to do it. Help here will be appreciated!

In the scantool, click on the Maps tab;
on the maps toobar click the finger pointing down button ("Edit map properties"), map properties window pops up;
click on the tab labelled "Empty".

Open the map you want, click Control+Enter, click on the Empty tab, tick the Hide box, enter the count you want to hide and then save.

Thanks guys, got that working. Made my first logged run on the BEN map and almost every cell average came up 1.0 to 1.1. Wideband showed around 14.6 to 15.0. Does this sound like I missed being in open loop speed density? I followed the tutorial but did not unplug the maf, I just set the MAF fails to 0 and 0.

If you get DTC P0103, then the MAF is "failed" and the PCM has failed over into SD.

Check in your tune that B3801 is disabled and B4205 is set to 284°F...
If this is so, then closed loop is disabled.

Think I have figured out what is going on. I missed setting the Commanded AFR table so it is calling for 14.63 across the table. Doesn't this say that my VE table is not too far off?

BEN of 1.0 is good. A value of 1.1 means the VE is off 10% and is not good.

Time to pay up to the data collection gods. :muahaha:

Yep, upto 10% too low... when you paste/multiply the BEN map into the VE table you should get within 2%.

I think I'm on a roll now! Had to work today so I didn't get a chance to work on it. No chance of rain tomorrow so I'm planning on burning some rubber (unavoidable at WOT) and a lot of logging. I'll let you guys know how it goes (or don't go).

Made about 8 logs on it today. Seemed to be dialing in correctly up to 4500-5000 rpms. From there up to 6800-7000 it was hard to get many cell counts and I thought I was just chasing my tail. The truck is a lot stronger but in the upper rpms the afr eased up to 13.1 to 13.4 which is too lean for me. There was no KR with 28-29* timing. What do I need to do in the upper rpms, extrapolate and smooth until I get the afr I want? Or adjust it with the PE table?
