View Full Version : EFILive FlashScan V8 software WHEN???

I was talking with another Efi'er who is little more "in the know" than most a while back and we got on the subject of the new V8 software. My opinion is with all the stuff Paul has going on with BB loging and stand alone reading/flash and Autocal, that we won't see anything of it this year. He seemed to thing we would, actually, he though maybe even this summer. So where do the EFILIVE guys stand on this? Any general time frame on the project? And please don't say "soon":muahaha::beer: "Soon" seems to be like saying "tomorrow" around here. It will always be done "tomorrow" :lol:

I would think V8 would have a good ring in 2008.

V8 is almost like a ground up rewrite, everything!
We also plan on taking things to the next level in impressiveness (word to be added into the oxford dictionary I am sure).
Of course we are already working on things prior to V8 so in reality 2008 might be a pretty reasonable guessitmate.

That about what I figured. I know its a complete rewrite, that why I didn't think it would be any time soon.
