I'm not sure how far you've mathmaticly induced yourself as far as IPW and IFR. Not sure if you've already been into calculations such as this or if it can actually help so I leave this link.

dude, my VE2IPW calculator is so much better than that ;)
seriously though, i read it a long time ago, they have a good example in there, even though they could've presented it better. Hartman's book has a better explanation of the process i think, but they dont have a good example. americans really need to learn to keep physics and units separate... ;)
