Looking at getting widebands and been talking to Ringram about this on and off for a few months, alas he is in France at the minute so here are my questions.
The two types I had been looking at were lm-1s and lc-1s. If I were to go for the LC's I understand they can also function as narrow bands. In doing so i could simply get them installed and run the car as normal whilst creating my auto_ve with the wideband function.
How simple is it to get these wired in using the cars narrow band terminals for power/reading? With the extra wideband function is a second power source requred or is there an easy way to plug them in (ie without having to get extra wiring sorte out)
Has anyone got a guide to installing the lc's in this manner and where to wire into and locate the outputs into the footwell?
I know there is a guide and I'm (admittedly) writing this from memory but I dont think it really covers this.
cheers
Mike
