Stripped EFI off my desktop today. Downloaded the latest v7.4.2. Down loaded the E38,T42 and allison updates. Downloaded the July 19 cal files.

But I can't open a os12614676 cal12597121 file...I get "UNRECOGNIZED PCM" etc.etc.

Any ideas ?

TIA.

I don't think the OS 12597121 is supported, if you have a tun file of that can you please send it to support@efilive.com

As for the other OS, just make sure the .cal files were saved in to the directory - \Program Files\EFILive\V7\Calibrations\E38

Cheers,
Ross

He's trying to read OS 12614676
and looking for CAL 12597121(not OS 12597121) in the E38 directery, which he won't find.

OS 12614676 is in the e38 file but I'm still getting the "Unrecogized PCM" warning.

Is it because I'm just using the Demo version on my desktop?

I've tuned two turbo systems on the ls1 platform. This new E38 platform is wayyyy over my head....ve calcs instead of tables, etc....incredible tuning power there.

The LS7 is just an engine. If you're using the LS1 computor you can use LS7 files as they are or convert them using the nice conversion table in EFI or just extrapolate, fill in and be creative.
I'd rather tune the LS7 with the LS1 PCM.:Eyecrazy:

I'd rather GM used the ECM from the 1986 TPI motors, would make my life easier ;)

I just tuned in a set of 86lb low imp injectors with EFI on a ls1 computer. Wouldn't know where to start on the LS7 PCM.

Some of the LS7 files are helpful though.
