Is the traction control switch on the C-5 and F-bodies, nothing more than a momentary switch? I am trying to do a workaround on my panels, I cannot incorporate the factory switch, but if it can be changed to a plain momentary to switch TCS ON/OFF and switch to Comp mode I can stop turning down panels that want the TCS built in to them...

TIA

I believe so (not 100% sure if momentary switch means what I think it means http://www.motownmuscle.com/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif ). When I had TC (ASR) on my previous f-bodies, the switch was 'spring loaded' in a sense. When you pressed it, it would pop back out right away unlike the fog light switch where it had a clear on/off position and stayed where you pushed it.

My C5 was the same way on the center console - just like an elevator button.

Hmmmm....

Yes it is. I wired up a TCS switch to my Line Lock. Works great. Turn on the seprate master arm switch and the light lights up, push, the brake pedal and then the momentary TCS switch and bingo!

My car never came with TCS from the factory but this Traction Control is much more helpful rather than an annoyance at the track.
