I have got the cable and software working with my VT V6

There's no complicated answer to this. It is a Scan Tool so you can scan the supported PIDs - that's it really :nixweiss:

CAn you get the Error codes from your car with this program ??

I'll PM Paul a link to this thread as he knows the most about it. I don't have a test vehicle or PCM to try it out.

Yes, load the vehicle config file: gmh-vt6.xml using menu option: File->Select vehicle. Then select the third macro "Engine Data and DTCs (DATADTC)", (DTC= Diagnostic Trouble Code).

Then click on the green start logging button to log the current state of the DTCs. You can view the DTCs' status on the [DTC (F10)] tab page.
