Last year (October) I bought a "FLASHSCAN-C"... THe car that I wanted to tune with it got sidetracked, so it is now done and it is time to tune!

I am not sure if what I got was right.... inside was a little booklet that looks like a handheld programmer. I was quite surprised as from the pic on the screen when I ordered it I thought I WAS getting a hand held unit... anyways, it says Flashscan V2, then I have an inline cable deal that says Flashscan FSP V1.2.

So what do I have.... V1 or V2.... and what is the purpose of the little booklet that looks like a handheld interface... is it like a sales flyer or something?

With all this V1 and V2 talk, I am confused/

thanks,
rb

Both the V1.2 and V2 units have the model printed on them.
The V2 has a 4x4 keypad on it, the V1.2 has a single button.

I think Flashscan-C means commercial V1, but easy to check as Ross said, or if it has an LCD screen its a V2 otherwise its a V1.
