EFILive's Scan Tool is being updated to version 7.
The following features will be in V7 (note some features will only be available when using the FlashScan interface cable - those options are marked with (FS).)
(FS) Added native "plug 'n' play" USB support for EFILive FlashScan USB cable.
Added [More info...] button on Connection tab page of Properties window to explain the various cable types.
Added [More info...] button on Logging tab page of Properties window to explain the various scan modes.
(FS) Added the following PIDs:
DATA.EXT1 - external A/D convertor 1
DATA.EXT2 - external A/D convertor 2
DATA.EXT3 - external A/D convertor 3 (not implemented in FlashScan V1 hardware)
DATA.EXT4 - external A/D convertor 4 (not implemented in FlashSCan V1 hardware)
(FS) Added support for uploading/downloading black box logging data.
(FS) Added support for editing PCM calibration *.bin and *.tun files.
Added "Paste" option to allow license details to be pasted from the email directly into the licence manager. Helps to prevent typing errors.
Changed license key encryption algorithm - meaning V6 licenses cannot be used in V7 software. This will require a license key upgrade the same as you needed when upgrading from V5 to V6.
Added frame "notes" to log files. This means you can press the keys: 0..9 and a "note" will be added to the current log frame. This makes it easy to "bookmark" frames of interest in the log file.
Added cell number captions to ltft display.
DTCs are now saved as part of the log file. EFILive V7 will read V6 and V5 log files. EFILive V6 will not read EFILive V7 log files.
DTCs, comments and customer details can now be included in export log files.
Log file export name now defaults to log file name.
Fixed bug where export was exporting 1 too many frames.
If a matching *.vpl (validated parameter list) file is not found for the currently loaded log file, then only (and all) parameters from the log file are marked as valid.
Fixed bug where the "connection retries" window and "progress window" were not being hidden if the main form was minimized.

Paul
