Seen some weird stuff yesterday when logging dynamic air on a mafless 98. With the maf unplugged cylair_dma (maf pid) worked and the dynamic air SD pid (dyncylair_dma) didnt work . Also after setting the maf fail to 0 so I could log frequency only in SD mode the car never went into SD mode and it didnt throw P0101.
Another wierd thing that happened while doing this was when the maf was unplugged the car was injesting .15 gm/cyl logged b the cylair_dma pid and then when it was connected the logged values changed to .17 gm/cyl.
Anyone have any suggestions or explaniations for this.....
After i dialed in the ve table using the auto tune feature and the logging of the cylair not working I just used the frequency against ben_factor to do the last calibration step. I found out the difference between the maf connected and unconnected was ~ the same when logging ben_factor to dial the maf in....
