I have a spare PCM that I use for class room training, (I don't use EFILive very often). I had originally loaded COS3 and an HSV cal to an Adventra. I was preparing for a class and tried changing to COS2 but now I can't load any cal's. I get a message saying my interface cable is not licensed to the PCM. What have I done wrong?

Thankyou JoeCar. Yes I'm using the latest software (V7.4). A little background, I'm auto teacher and I run a course in Aftermarket EFI (Autronic Motec etc) Initially the PCM was reflashed by Holden for me with an updated OS (074, not sure what it was originally) and a dyn calibration so I could run it on an engine dyn minus security etc. I wanted to add EFILive to the course when we were donated some engines and an Adventra. In my prep for a course coming up I wanted to go thru the motions of reflashing the PCM with a different COS. I had already loaded COS3 and an HSV tune so I tried loading COS2 for an OS change with the intention of putting the Adventra cal back in, during the course I would show the students the steps to change to a COS3 and the HSV tune. But now I get the message that the PCM is not licensed to the interface cable. When I read the PCM it shows that there is no cal laoded but the Calibration page shows BCC as MOD2. I guess I have erased the internal number which is also the license number. Any ideas please?

Hi Andrew,

Please read this thread:
http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=4093

If your PCM serial number has gone to 000000000000 then send me your FlashScan serial number and Auth code to paul@efilive.com

See this thread for info on getting that information:
