Really noob question

What program do you use to read these tune files everyone posts up. Like, what do you think of my tune? And they'll post a file to click on, but my computer won't read it. My efi live will be here in a few days and I am tryin to get a headstart. Thanks!

You need the EFILive software on your PC. There are two "pieces" One is "scan" and the other is "tune". YOu run each for the task you are doing with the car. SCAN to see what the car is doing. TUNE to retrieve the original tune from the car and TUNE to modify the tune and load it on to your car.

Go here: http://www.efilive.com/download.aspx Download the 7.4.2 and put it on your PC. I believe you can then open and read files. You won't be able to scan your car or program your car until you have the cable and license information in your hands.

After you install 7.4.2 as Elmer said, you can:
- with the scantool open sample log files from My Documents\EFILive\V7\Logged Data
- with the tunetool open sample tune files from My Documents\EFILive\V7\Bins
