Has anyone used a 2 Bar map sensor 9359409 off a 06 Supercharged Cobalt SS? I put one on mine and scaled it for a 2 Bar and now my map reading is 21.9inHg idling when it was 9.2inHg idling with the stock tune. So it is running very rich. I thought I would be able to use the cobalt map but maybe it won't work. I've seen on here guys talking about using 12580698 sensor. Thanks guys.

I think it's the barometer sensor that you need. worked for me. I recall the MAP from a cobolt is only 1.5bar or even 1bar but don't quote me on that. A quick google search brought up a site that claims that part number is for a 2001-2002 Olds Aurora with the 3.5L engine.

12580698 is the correct part number for a 2bar bap sensor...should have a brown label and look like the 1bar factory sensor.

Sounds like you have the scalar set incorrectly...should be around 188.

Best way to do it us to reinstall your 1bar and read the kpa with the engine off and key on (mine was 94kpa yours may be 90-100 depending on your elevation). Then install the 2bar and set the scalar to 188. Then do another key on engine off and see if it's the original number (again mine was 96 on the first try and I had to change the scalar to get back to 94kpa)

I tried a 9359409 out of a supercharged cobalt. I figured it would have a 2 bar since it was FI. I don't think it is. Now that I think about it. it had close to the same reading at key up as my orig map had. I got caught up in changing things over after installing the COS5. When I scaled it to a 2 bar it really f*cked it up. Injectors went from 2.5 to 7.5 so it was really rich at idle. I didn't have to pay for the map sensor so I'm not out that money. I guess I will have to get me a different one.

Ok I got a 12580698 map sensor. I got it scaled to match my key up readings of my 1 bar. Idles alot better, however it dies if I give it gas. When you correct the out of range items will they drop off the list? I thought I fixed them but they stiil show up as out of range. I'm new to tuning and I'm starting to think maybe I should start out changing my stock tune before I jump into the COS5. I disabled the maf and thought about going SD so I'm not sure if that is causing it to die. Thanks for the help everyone.

I had that problem...I changed one of the engine diagnostic settings for the MAF to "not reported" instead of "non-emission"
Are the following values out of range: A0001 Forced octane scaler percent, A0002 Octane scaler limit, and A0009 Boost VE table? If so Set those to max-1, save file, exit tool, open tool, open file, set them back to previous value, save file.
