I have been working on a dash. I am very pleased so far except---Every time I open the dash the SPARK gauge has a Green Hatch background. If I click on "Gauge Properties" and try to make changes to it--Nothing happens. Then when I click "OK" the gauge is correct until I close out of the scan tool. Then when I reopen the scan tool the SPARK gauge is green hatch. If I click on "Gauge Properties" and do NOTHING and click "OK" the gauge is correct. What am I doing wrong? I have even "Removed" the gauge. Then when I Add a new SPARK gauge it is Green hatch again.

Before you close out the scantool is it asking you to save the dash? If so you have not saved it yet. Once you have everything setup like you want and have saved it, go ahead and lock the dashboard so inadvertant things don't happen.

Check the gauge properties window on the [Alarms] tab page. If the min alarm value is set higher than the current value of the gauge (i.e. zero) it will show a green hatch background.

You can either change the alarm trigger points or the alarm colors to suit what you want to achieve.

Thanks for the help guys.
Doc, I thought it was a save mistake too. But, I saved it about 10 different times. Blacky, It was the alarm MIN. that was messing with me. Everything is good for now.:notacrook:

I've had the same problem with my LTFT & STFT gauges. Resetting the 'min alarm' got rid of an annoying problem.

Thank You. :master:
