laptop wont recognize flashscan

Just says device has failed and cant see it?!?!? Bought it used, I tried to update the drivers but XP says whats installed is the latest


Did have an issue on the desktop however though.... wait its freaking out as I move the cable. I need an new cable I think.. where do I get one?

Ok bad cable but I had another one juist like it for my didgi cam but no it say the device has failed and wont recognize it after seeing it as flashscan before??!?!
