Upgrade OS boost and 4l80e

Hello, I've been reading for some time and found the information avilable on this forum to be excellent, this is my first post though.
I'm playing with my Gen3 Patrol, it is turbo with a 4l80e. I'm trying to get started on a tune but the only operating systems that are compatible with each other that I can find to do a trans segment swap are 99-00 which means I can't upgrade it to a 2 bar custom OS.
Can I run a drive by wire OS with a cable throttle? As there was a 6.0L Siverado 4l80e ('02 from memory) OS that I could use as a starting point.

I've been looking at Cals and noticed that the 2002 Sonama truck has no value in the Electronic Throttle(Cable?), hoping I can use this 12212156 cal with the trans segment swap from 2002 Silverado 12212156 which has the
4l80e as the for my COS3 upgrade. Sound feasible?

The Sonama is a V6 but shares the same 12212156 O.S., will it run the 5.7 being there are more cylinders? There are 6.0 and 5.3 with the same O.S. can I assume that the PCM just utilizes a few more ignition and injector outputs but is fundamentally the same?
The Electronic throttle warnings are fairly dire if modified, has anybody set all the ETC to zeros like the Sonama tune but using a 6.0L 12212156 from a 2002 Silverado in order to run a cable on a ECT type tune?
