Error 1714 windows vista

Hello, I am trying to update to the newest efilive version and during the install process I receive a message that says error 1714 The older version of efilive v7.4 scan and tuning tool could not be removed. Contact your technical support group.

Any Ideas?

You could try running the V7.4 installation again and selecting the [Repair] option. That should restore the un-install scripts. Then try uninstalling it.

I don't have the repair option. I only get an install with minimum typical and custom option.

Got it going with the help of msicuu.exe from microsoft.
