There isn't a beginner's forum. There is a bunch of stuff to read that originates in the stickies. There are a bunch of people (I'm not one of them) who really know this stuff who will answer questions and try to help you. You do need to spend a substantial amount of time reading to understand how some of this stuff works. It takes time and effort to be a bit of a novice to even be able to ask a few questions. The good thing is that just about anything you want to know has been addressed on this forum already and you can see what has worked in the past and what some people are doing currently. People here are reasonable and really go out of their way to help if you have any problems/questions.

this forum is still fairly small , you can actually scan thought all posts in a short amount of time, or use the search for anything specific and keep up to date by reading new posts each day.
