View Full Version : how to wire the lm-1 in to v1

Hi, i need help i don't understand how to actually hook the lm-1 in to v1, do i jump wires straight off the wide sensor and in to v1, i 've looked at the lc-1 tutorial I'm wondering if i do it like that?

Hi, yep i check that there is a tutorial on how install the lc-1 but not the lm-1. regards jason

The white wire from the analog out goes to either C or E in the orange connector. The copper wire goes into D. If you use C you need to log the pid AD2. For E use AD1.

Hi, thanks for that i will give it a go, i thought u could use that out put but didn't know which wire was which and couldn't find any info any were 4 it, do i have to log the lm-1 as well as efi live? for the lm-1 to make the out put?.

You will need to log both the anolog output as well as the calculated pid for the LM-1.
So if you had the white wire in position C you would log:
External analog voltage 2 EXT.AD2
Wideband Afr 2 CALC.AFR_LM12
# Base Efficiency Numerator 2 - LM-1 CALC.BEN_LM12
White wire in position E Requires:
External analog voltage 1 EXT.AD1
Wideband Afr 1 CALC.AFR_LM12
# Base Efficiency Numerator 1 - LM-1 CALC.BEN_LM11
# Only required for Auto VE , Maf tuning etc.
The LM-1 will always output when turned on. You will only need to log in EFIlive unless of course you want to record in the LM-!.
