Hi,
I logged knock retard on my '07 NBS (new body style) Silverado with a 4.8 liter. Max retard was 1.1 degrees mosty at low load/rpm with a 6% timing increase and 93 octane fuel. Anyway, I did the same to an '06 Escalade and the first time it worked great then the next 2 times it wouldn't read KR live no matter what.
My main question is:
Is this a known issue or just a glitch? I tried resetting stuff and validating parameters but the best it did was record max KR (red), while the instant KR (white) did not move and stayed on 0. What's up?
