I am having problems with the simple stuff. I am just getting stared and I can't seem to view a dashboard or view anything . the only starting point I can find is my current tune when I go into the tuning section. I have saved my current tune and that is all I have done. Anybody want to point me in the right direction. All the information I am finding is for people 2 steps ahead of where I am. THANKS!!!

Do this:
- connect cable to vehicle;
- open scantool;
- do File->Enter VIN and enter VIN, OS (from your tune), transmission;
- do File->Connect and enter the PCM type for your vehicle;
- do Info->Validate PIDs;
- do Info->PCM Info and check that the info is sane;
- click on PIDs F8 tab;
- checkmark Supported and select System:All;
- some PIDs should already be selected;
- (doubleclick on a PID to select or unselect it);
- click on Dashboard F10 tab;
- click on B;
- if dash page B is all blank/grey, click on the open folder button, select the default metric dash, click OK;
- the charts displayed should should show PID names;
- if any PID names have a line thru them, hover the cursor over the PID name, rightclick, go either of Metric, Imperial, Other and choose a PID;
- click on the red circle button at the bottom of the window;
- you should now see the chart updating (lines being drawn);
- when done recording, press the blue square button, it will ask you for a filename, enter a filename click ok;
- you can move the vertical line cursor along the chart trace, if the cursor does not move press F2 first;
- when done, press File->Disconnect.
