I have a friend that has a 96 Chevy Silverado with a 5.7L Vortec. He just got done rebuilding it and needs to set the timing.I currently have EFI V1 and have only delt with duramax diesel's.So my question is can efi do this? And if it can can someone help with how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank's

Not on a 96 Vortec. A V2 can do 98+ Vortec trucks, but the 96's are a diffrent PCM thats not suported.

I wonder if the 96-98 guys could do a 0411 swap...that would make a lot of guys happy and EFILive wouldnt have to recode a bunch of OSs...hmm
