I have a friend with a 2000 trans am with a a4 trans that was just rebuilt. after rebuild with a shift kit set to full race he has a delay for the 2-3 shift. I logged his shift times and he is seeing .7 for that shift but only .1 on the 1-2 shift.

Shift rpm was set to 6600 for the 2-3 but it will not shift untill 6827 on every log I try. I moved the rev limiter from 6800 to 7000 and dropped the shift rpm to 6400 and it still does the same thing.
here is the tune, could you all look and see what all could be causing this and if it is not in the tune we know to take it to the guy that built it for him to fix.
I did not do the tune on this car , I am just helping him with the trans issue and later will help to change some things in his tune.

Set WOT 3->2 MPH D0930 to a value less than WOT 2->3 MPH D0915.

If still no go, then try setting the desired shift times to zero.

I will try that. I started to but I decided to try putting the trans calibrations all to stock to see how the shift kit done on its own from another local tuners advice. that did not do it. although the shift felt firm and quick from just the shiftkit but still bounced the thing to 6827 rpms even trying the 2->3 shift at 5500 rpms and down from 122 kilometers to 90. still hit 6827 rpms on the shift.
