I downloaded the software for the drivers but I don't get how I install it, there are just a few files and everyone that I click on asks me to select a program to open it with. Anyone know how to do this?

Connect the FlashScan device to the PC. It should prompt for a location to load drivers from. You navigate to the location of the drivers and Windows will load/move the necessary files.

There are some driver related documents under your 'C:\Program Files\EFILive\V7\Docs' folder as well.

Thanks for the response. I tried that and it didn't prompt me to do anything. Its like it doesn't even sense that the flashscan is connected.

That could be a problem in it self. Can you see it (when connected) in Device Manager. What about trying a different USB port, or perhaps on a different computer.

Is it a FlashScan V1 or V2? If it is a V2 does the device get powered on at all when connected with just the USB cable?

Its a V1. I'll have to check the device manager
