Please post OS use, and other info as shown - this is just for sampling purposes, and also, browser choice, too.

NOTE - If more than one, post PRIMARY OS in poll above!

OS::
Windows 98 - 2 machines
WINDOWS XP - 1 machine

Browser:
Mozilla 1.7 - all machines

I think the last three options will struggle to get a vote - since EFILive won't run on them :shock:
Unless you use an emulator - I guess.

Can you split ME and 2000 into 2 separate options?
ME and 2000 are as different as 95 and NT

Just for interest, the dev streams for windows went like this:
(I think, feel free to correct me).

Win3.1->Win95->Win98->WinMe->WinXP home
and
WinNT 3.1->WinNT 4->Win2K->WinXP Pro

Yea and I forgot NT and all it's legacy, too - just wanted to see the state of the art of the userbase...

Won't go "mucking wit it" since it's been posted to by others, and I yea ME and 2K are completely different sourced, but they are sort of "orphans" in the 98/XP war...

(and yea, I figured there would be some uber-geeks using non- M$ OS under emulation or other kludges...)

Come on, folks cast your vote!

Yes, this is all in the HOUSE. I actually have less machines around me at work than I do here. :P There its a mix of Win2k, Win98, and OpenBSD.

Interesting thing is on two of the XP Pro machines the cable driver did not auto load with FLashScan and on the others it did?

Sorry to thread dig, but will the Flashscan V2 operate correctly on WIN10 or do I need an earlier version of windows?

Win 10 is fine.
But this thread is so old the poll doesn't include Vista or Win 7, too funny.

I am a new EFILive-er and I know this thread is old but I am using Win7 Pro and will be trying Win10.
I hope I hope Win 10 admin privileges don't cause a bunch of headaches

You need to run EFILive as an Administrator or it will not function properly. There are multiple threads on this here if you need help getting it configured correctly.

This is a ridiculous survey when most people have upgraded their MS computer/laptop to win7, win8, or win10.
Why aren't those in this survey.
I have laptops with xp pro, win7 pro and win10 pro.
I use xp pro on a dell lattitude d830 for my tunes. It never connects to the internet except to check for efilive updates.

The OP is from 2004 so the survey is quite outdated!

You are right SS2win, the original poll was posted in 2004 :shock:

So update it...wouldn't it be nice to know what os your clients/users are into now? I would.
It really makes no difference, there will never be Linux, BSD or OSX version written, most people will be on Windows 10 or 8, most software companies would not be supporting issues for Win 98, XP etc.
