OK,
after much drama (relicensing , windows crash) :bash:
i am finally setup and running in real time! :rockon:
my question now is how do i set up the CAL_LINK
so i can change {B0102} and {B4001}.
i made them both the same as the {B0101}
but i did not see the CALCBENLC1 in the real time box.
so i did not bother to start the car.
can all tables be changed real time? :nixweiss:
how about someone in the know post up a CAL_LINK file
that is set up for pretty much everything. :notacrook:

I think thats a good idea.

Have a read through this thread if you all ready haven't.

It should help things fall in place for you.

Good to see your up and running.

cheers

Its not everything, but I have added in the links for what you requested for all current supported widebands.

thanks
this confirms my assumption of how the RR works in this regard.

ok
one more question on the cal_link text...
can i add a table that is not in the file in order to link it with the RR?
I want to add {B4901} to the text with the lines,

;Charge Temperature Blending
B4901.COL=SAE.MAF
B4901.RRR=CALC.BEN_LC11

or is there more to it? (deeper programing)

Your on the right track.

Type it in, and have a go.

No special tricks.

Sometimes the parameter in the software is not covered with the RTAC settings preview screen. There would be some limits on a few parameters.

i made the change to the cal_link but still this tables is locked out of RTACS.

Had to have a think and look at this {B4901}.

Well when I read up on this it looks like a smudge correction factor which has favor of intake air temp or engine coolant temp, not a direct parameter sum or fueling equation.

So I don't think Ben's will work with this type of parameter.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry to give you the wrong impression.

What exactly are you trying to achieve.

Are you looking for parameters that have the same effect as A0014 and A0008 that are seen in the custom operating systems?

Cheers

i just wanted to see if changing it at cold start will get
the BENS in line under low ECT.
thats all ,just playing around basically.

Check out {B3632}

This will get you what you want.

You Can see that this parameter is eq ration based fuel sum.

So ben's should work here.

RAFNP and RAFIG should pull things into shape as well.

open loop or closed loop?
also i don`t have this in the cal_link file.
lol if i add it will the RR make changes?
i am wondering if you can`t just make up your own links
if the RR is set up to change certain tables only.

well,
it did work.....BEN factor leaned it out,
so i am going 2 try to do this table manually.
