Can I disable table B3618 (PE Modifier based on RPM) so that it has no affect on WOT fueling..

I want to use one table to control WOT and part throttle fueling... PERIOD..

I want to use table B3605 (commanded fuel when in open loop normal) to control fueling at PART and WOT throttle... (I know its based on coolant temp but thats ok...) Also Id like to use the STFT's as well....

This is an all motor car + dp nitrous.. I need it to be as easy as possible to control WOT & part throttle fueling... I dont plan on messing with the IFR table or the MAF to control anything, actually I prefer to set the IRF table to suit my injector needs and leave the VE and MAF tables stock...

Can it be done this way???

If so what needs to be done.....

THANKS....:beer: :cheers:

Set B3618 to EQ 1.00 (stoichiometric AFR 14.63 or 14.68 -> see B3607).

Adjust B3605 and monitor wideband to see which way and how much.

EDIT: typo, change B3607 to B3601... :bash:

Thanks joe,

Ok so set B3618 to 14.63 or 14.68, and set B3607 to 14.63 or 14.68...

So when thats done, set B3605 to how I want it and monitor the wideband.. Do I need to dissable the LTFT's and the STFT's???? or can they stay active?? I dont want any correction especially at WOT, so could I dissable the LTFT's?? I dont mind STFT correction at idle and part throttle, so i guess that can stay active..

Is there anything else, needed to be dissabled.

Just so where on the right page, if I dissable the PE table by doing what you said and leave the VE & MAF table stock and adjust the IFR table to my injectors... The B3605 table will be the ONLY table to control fueling only???? right???

[ooops, sorry, typo: I meant B3601 and not B3607... in post #2]

B3601 is the AFR for stoichiometry.

At WOT, PCM will be in open loop where it commands the AFR from the richer of B3605 or B3618
( and in your case B3605 is richer than B3618 ).

[so you don't really need to disable LTFT's/STFT's].

OK, so in my tune B3601 is 14.63 and B3607 is 14.63 as well, thats been done already. and set B3618 TO 14.63 so it dissables PE and set B3605 the way I want it.... So that table only control's fueling at part and WOT throttle... right??

Ive read that I can set B3605 to 14.63 from -40*- 284* & 20 MAP KPA - 70 MAP KPA so it cruises at stoich... is that a good idea???

Also since im gonna use my tune from the 346ci in the 408ci ill make my adjustments accordingly, BUT what problems will I run into as far as trying to keep the car idleing?? what tables need to be adjusted for that....???

Joe, what about B3606 maximum enrichment... does that need to be changed to whatever max enrichment I set B3605 to???

ALSO....

When B3605 is the only means of controling fueling, does the MAF still play a role in fueling. I want no other influences in fueling besides B3605...

Can I do a OLSD tune without a COS???

I don't think B3606 (max enrich during hot mode) needs to be changed.

The MAF B5001 and/or VE B0101 determine cylinder airmass.

Richer of B3605 and B3618 determines the commanded AFR during OL (which includes WOT).

NBO2 trims the commanded/actual AFR to B3601 during CL.

B4001 IFR determines cylinder fuelmass to meet the commanded AFR.
(i.e. fuelmass is calculated from airmass to achieved the specified commanded AFR).

B3617 and B3641 may or may not add/subtract fuel.
B3603 and B3659 may command fuel.
B0701 adds fuel if calculated cat temps are too high.
(these are to protect engine and cats (if any)).

DFCO can cut fuel during deceleration.

Yes you can do OLSD without a COS;
in OLSD:
- airmass comes from VE B0101;
- commanded AFR comes from richer of B3605 and B3618;
- fuelmass comes from B4001;
- MAF and NBO2 are not used;
- protection items still apply.

What are the protection items that still apply??

Ok here is what I did.....

B3618- changed to 14.63
B3605- changed accordingly (prob needs tweeking)
B4001- changed for 42# injectors
B3801- disabled
B4206- enabled
B3313- disabled set to 283.9*
B3617- set at 0 across the board

Hows this look... I hope this way allows B3605 to be the only way to control fueling at WOT and part throttle.

Sorry for the confusion... :cheers:

Thanks joe, Im not worried about those tables since I have no cats and the other tables will prob never be enabled. Once I switch to OLSD.

Do you think that the changes I made will work for what Im currently trying to do...??

Hello,

Im curious as to why you dont want to go to the C0S5? This is how my car is currently configured, but the C0S5 changes that open loop fueling table to MAP vs RPM vice the MAP vs ECT that your trying to use now, seems to work much better for me.
