i have just got my flash scan i want to register but will i use up license as i am having a new gear box fitted next week? will i have to use a new license for the new gear box?

If your changing stuff up, I would wait tell new stuff is in even if it doesnt use a license.

No, the license is locked to the PCM/TCM controller. It doesn't matter what changes outside of those 2.
