First time use of EFILive?

I have the demo of EFILive on my machine. A friend of mine has V2, and I was wanting to use his cable to simply READ my PCM tune out to look at the actual tune.

It won't blow away one of his licenses will it? Or do I have to use his laptop?

IIRC EFILive will let me read as many as I want, but only use a license if I try to flash, right?

Plug the V2 into your laptop, start EFILive and you're good to go.

Licenses are only used when flashing.
