i am contimplating swaping the stock 6.0l gas engine and transmission with a duramax and allison trans, in my 03 hummer h2. I know this is a huge undertaking. I am wondering if there is any flash or programs available to allow the engine, transmission, and body modules to be happy together. thanks

Well in theory, the only thing i think the ECM would have a fit over (and I KNOW i'm wrong, there's gotta be more to it than just that.) would the the vehicles electronic/burglar alarm things.

I did a quick google search and came up with this... http://www.teakatoys.com/category_s/80.htm

i am aware of the predator motorsport conversion. The cheapest version is $30,000.00. the cost is not not what i'm trying to avoid. i enjoy doing these kind of conversions i have done a couple far less ambitious swaps. The biggest problem i am anticipating is the federal emission duramax is not OBDII they are a modified OBDI. So i am sure there will be comunication problems. There are options on the H2 (air ride, diff. locks, and various other goodies) that are not available on a decked out silverado or sierra.MY hopes are somebody makes a programer advanced enough to make this happen. i know it can be done because predator motorsports is doing it. they said it took two years and lots of money to develop the software, and they may be right, but, there has to be a market for it. Thanks
