Tuning a 4.3?

Anyone know of a tool that can flash the 1999 up 4.3 Vortec?

What's the operating system number of the PCM?

Still working on this one. Got to get the customer over so I can scan the PCM to find out. It's not an LS1 type engine you know, it's the 4.3 which is just a 5.7 SB with the front two cylinders chopped off. Any way I'll get the code soon. Thanks,

EFILive will reprogram any PCM that has a supported operating system in it, including some 4.3 V6's.

1999 and 2000 4.3 are NOT covered. They are the black pcms. However, in 2001 up they used the same hardware as the v8 ones so they are covered. :)

Anyone know about the 3.8 Supercharged cars, Pontiac GTP etc... I have a 99 is that the same way on the PCM or is it the newer supported one? Just thought maybe someone would know for sure.

We know for sure we don't support them.
Try the DHP software for the 3800 V6.

I am currently using EFI live on my 2003 4.3L V6, so far so good.
