I remember Dirk Diggler (aka HumpinSS) discussing his FJO and analog voltage. GMPX said the max. input AD voltage was 4.8 volts - which I verified in the docs section ( sometimes my memory deceives me - it's tricky like that!!).

I've noticed the PLX outputs 0-5 volts and these are listed in the PLX PIDs.
My FJO can output 0-5 volts, or I can customize a 0-4.8 volt - which will require a custom set of PIDs (AFR and BEN). Can I use the PLX or is it Better to use the 0-4.8v output???

Using the normal 0-5V output is fine because the AFR values at 4.8volts and above are usually around 19-20 AFR. You'll never (normally) be running in the 19-20 AFR range, so missing out on capturing the last 0.2 volts is no issue.

Is the FJO output linear?
Can you post the FJO AFR v's voltage specs so I can add it to EFILive, please?

Yes the Fjo is linear.


The formula for 0-5 10-20 is afr=v*2/10
.5-4.5 10-20 is afr=v*2.5+8.75


I am using the .5-4.5 linear output i noticed when hokking up my DVM the cable droped the voltage a little when used with 0-5 and the voltage drop was non existant when using .5-4.5

I know the 0-5v works (didn't check with a multimeter for accuracy). I think I'll try Dirk's soln of 0.5-4.5 volts.
