Any idea what the actual values are in terms of the cam angle? I don't have a tech II but its got to be able to retard the cam (-) degrees.. Does anyone know what the real 0 degrees reference is?

Also I ordered a 6L90e and transfercase today. Will I be able to program it or at least able to flash a stock Corvette program into it?

I know that on my I6 Trailblazer 0 degrees is fully advanced, and of course the higher you go the more it retards the cam timing. I don't know much more than that, I have looked and looked and can not find any more info.

I have some good logs from a 3.6L V6 with cam phasing active. I'll post them up here once I get them off my laptop.

6L90E can be programed, but bench flashing it might be fun :D

Thanks for the quick response Ross. We are putting the cam in this weekend.

My logs didn't show any negitive values. Typically its Zero at idle up to 1000 rpms and then the values start increasing.

So I guess one could assume that the cam is fully advanced at Zero degrees and that a certain # (say 12 for example) is actually the Zero advance point and values above 12 are actually retarded = less than Zero.

Hope I'm not pissing in the wind on bench flashing the tranny:muahaha:

You swapping the 6L80 out Dennis? I have a 6L90E file from my '07 2500HD GMC Sierra I could send you.

Thanks I would appreciate getting the file.

I've got the 4L70e right now. I ordered the 6L90, which should be here in a 15 days or less. Not sure when I'm going to install it though.

The cam install starts in the morning.

Oh yeah, I forgot you have the VMax. I was thinking Sierra Denali for some reason. I tried to attatch the file but, it wouldn't work so here is a link.
