I have searched the web for flow rates for injectors in an alloy 5.3, without luck. Can anyone help p/n 12580681.
What is the best option if I cant get these as I am setting up to tune a few of these in boats.

What model truck is it out of? Have a look on Andrew's website www.holdencrazy.com for a tune file from what ever its out of and go to B4001. What ever the value is at 0 PSI is what they flow at the pressure that the engine originally intended for.

Those little boats are awesome!
Standard 4.8,5.3,6.0 truck injectors are 24lbs/hr and they are a different injector then the car manifold uses (shorter and a different plug). If you need to upgrade them, 8.1 truck injectors will swap right in and are 31lb/hr and if you need more then that 8.1 MARINE injectors are 42lb/hr.
You can use Bosch style car injectors in the truck manifolds, but you have to space up the fuel rails 5/8" and change the injector pig tails.

I'm not sure about the "alloy" 5.3s, but the injectors in the iron block engines are rated at 24.988 lbs/hr at 4 bar (58 psi). The horsepower of the aluminum block engines isn't significantly different, so I'd expect the injectors to be the same. If you need larger injectors, the unes used in LS2s should be a drop in (they are the correct length and have USCar connectors. I have a couple of sets and when I had them flow checked, I believe they were about 32 lbs/hr at 4 bar. I can check if you need an exact number.

Thanks guys, ran one up tonight...the figures i got from other 5.3 tunes indicate 22lb, but it seemed to like 24.
Something else im working on is mounting the 24tooth reluctor on to the front balancer instead of pulling the crank to replace the 58 one. Ill take some pics to show you. Its working well.

Pic of a marathon boat we may run as well...1200hp. BIG block with twin hair dryers:rockon:
