Hey guys why does when I log different runs. Everything is prettu much the same and my timing map is hte same but some times it is on .72 and some on .76 on the gram/cyl. How is gram/cyl calculated.

Thanks,

Ed

Is it saying these diffrent airmasses at diffrent rpms usally it will go up a little as your rpms rise.

What are you logging?

Im not exactly sure how its calculated but I think it is a overall meausurement taken from the engine sensors. (MAP, MAF, IAT) and it throws in all the caluculations for airtemp with it too.

If your logging at diffrent times it will be diffrent.

Sometimes I only got .65g.cyl than got .76. Diffrent days have diffrent atmospheric conditions and I think that causes it to be diffrent.

IAT probably has a lot to do with it too.

No each value will need a diffrent timing. You have to figure out what is the best timing to put in each diffrent value.

If your asking should you just raise all the timing in the table up by x amount?

Some areas need more timing then others.

Like you won't want to add any from stock in the high g/cly low rpms becuase thats probably when the TC is locked and youll probably get knock there.
